About Space Coast Pride
Space Coast Pride is a wholly volunteer-managed non-partisan, tax-exempt, not-for-profit corporation that organizes Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Pride events throughout the Space Coast of East Central Florida. We welcome the participation of all, regardless of age, creed, gender, gender identification, HIV status, national origin, race, religion, sexual origin, and regardless of ability. Space Coast Pride is governed by the Board of Directors.
Space Coast Pride, Inc. is the Lesbian, Gay, Bi-Sexual and Transgender community organization for Brevard County, Florida and a non-profit 501(c)3 charitable organization. Its primary focus is to foster a sense of community among the LGBTQIA++ community and to bridge the divide within all aspects of our lives. The Space Coast Pride Festival & Parade is the pinnacle of our efforts. Space Coast Pride is committed to upholding LGBTQIA++ interests in Brevard County by offering support and sponsorship of nonprofits that serve the LGBTQIA++ community; by educating and advocating for human rights and serving as the call to action for our community; and through the festival and parade which celebrates our community.
Get Involved
Space Coast Pride, formerly known as The Living Room of Brevard, started in 2007 with a mission to create a safe, inclusive, and vibrant space for our LGBTQIA+ community in Brevard County.
From humble beginnings as a picnic in the park attended by 50 people, we have soared to new heights, celebrating a historic Pridefest with over 20,000 joyful attendees!
We completed our most recent festival & parade in Historic Downtown Melbourne in September. Highlights from 2023 PrideFest include: Over 23,000 attendees, 140 vendor booths, over 20 entertainers, hosts and DJs, over 50 parade groups that showed a dazzling spectacle of love and unity, including our inaugural Trans Visibility March, which saw over 100 participants take a bold step forward.
This was all accomplished with the support and dedication of 11 Volunteer Space Coast Pride Board Members and 111 volunteers who poured their hearts and souls into creating this magical experience for you.

Board meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month.

Space Coast Pride is a proud member of the International Association of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Pride Coordinators (InterPride), a not-for-profit organization that provides support to over 200 groups that plan Pride events around the globe. Space Coast Pride is also a member of Prides of the Southeast (POSE), an association of Pride committees in the Southeastern US.
