We're looking for individuals to join our team. We have various opening from leadership positions to committee positions. See below for what we have available.

The Space Coast Pride Festival & Parade, and all of our events would not be successful without the hard work and dedication of our volunteers! We depend on you, those who want to give back and serve our community! Each role involves some time commitment, but more importantly, we value your input, enthusiasm, and creativity to make Space Coast Pride a success. Please see below for descriptions of each role and email us if you are interested in serving Pride!

As a Space Coast Pride board member, you’ll be joining one of the most energetic, dynamic, and resourceful LGBTQIA++ organizations in Brevard County and along the Space Coast. Board members are expected to commit to upholding Space Coast Pride’s mission and policies.

Festival Leadership Team

Festival Director

The Festival Director will oversee the planning of Space Coast Pride and assist managers to ensure a successful event. The Festival Director will communicate regularly with the board and will be asked to attend meetings with the city, neighborhood associations, and other entities. During the festival, the festival director will coordinate assistant directors, managers, and other volunteers to ensure the success of everyone involved.

Parade Director

The Parade Director will oversee the planning of the parade and assist the parade managers to ensure a successful parade. The Parade Director will communicate regularly with the Festival Director and the board. They will from time to time be asked to attend meetings with the city, neighborhood associations, merchant associations and any other entities that would affect or be affected by the Parade.

Marketing Director

The Marketing Director will work closely with the Festival Director and Leadership Team on the planning and execution of all media, promotions, and implementation of the festival timeline.

Security Director

The Security Director will work closely with the Festival Director and Leadership Team on the planning and execution of all security related matters relating to the festival.

Festival Committees

Will work with the leadership team and volunteers to create and help run the Festival & Parade.
KZ Manager will work with the leadership team and volunteers to create a unique experience in the Family Fun Zone.

Non-Festival Committees

This vital committee actively helps secure funding for our organization and also helps with the decisions and distributions of our scholarships.
This committee helps advocate for our youth throughout the Space Coast and also stays on top of the latest news and issues affecting all of the LGBTQIA++ community.
This committee is responsible for securing and bringing forth new nominations to the board of directors and also with the revisions and implementations of our bylaws.
This committee advocates for and helps maintain the health and wellness of the LGBTQIA++ community throughout the Space Coast by securing local health oriented companies as partners, both financially, via sponsorships and via in kind sponsorships.
This committee is responsible for establishing and maintaining a database of all LGBTQIA++ friendly businesses throughout the Space Coast and ensuring that they are connected to those resources. They will also help identify specific causes and needs that the organization should be focusing on and supporting.
